Lack of classrooms, teachers and books but students are constantly overflowing every year at public schools. And the educational department is the one of the three that gets the most lowest percent rate government has allotted from the budget coming from the tax payers but the 30% goes to the debts of the Philippines.I had known that information through our professor who teaches us Educational Broadcasting. I know everyone has heard about the ZTE broadband deal that has been in the news last year, at first I thought it was just another nonsense thing that involves the very popular word “corruption” when the government areas are concern. But also in the same class our professor explained it to us what the broadband deal is all about and to my understanding, the broadband deal supposedly might helped all the public school to be cohesive and has the same type of learning because on the rural places on the hard to reach places.After I’ve heard it, I begun to got upset and realize that the government pay so much attention to the corruption issue about the broadband deal rather than the mission of why in the first place they wanted to have that deal and just because of the conflict on biding to get that deal among the government people in the congress. It’s so upsetting to think that one thing or a one project that might be able to help students from remote area to learn more and much accurate just like in the level of what students in urban areas. Come to think of it, a big change may had happen in the sense of students education. Instead of trying to fix the problem they just put first their ego and tried to look clean. I know I’m just a student and my ideas are still distorted to what I want to express but one things clear, if people in the congress people just stop putting their ego first and always trying to look clean even if their reputation was already been scratched so many times try to look around outside their offices to the real world, meaning to all the places with people that eagerly wanted to change their life but can’t make it happen because of difficulty in education and the small amount of opportunity for them because of their status in life might cause all the corrupt people in the congress to have conscience, then that would be so much better.
