A Persian Carpet
Crafted with pleasure
Carpets from Persia
You have to bow low
Meant to be tread on
Soon as one gets by
This is what I like about this site. I get offended with others’ opinions because it deviate me from what I believe in, it digresses me from what I am used to do. But even if I get irritated, I can’t help but learn. Learn to apply the principles that others want to instill in me even if somehow I find it difficult to accept. I once said that I can’t chew meat if I still don’t have teeth. I think it’s time for these teeth to grow…
I was informed that I shouldn’t be explaining anything about my poems. But I just want to give credit to people who gave me the inspiration to compose this poem. This is my first of a kind.. hahah... I just hope this can be called a poem, though. And I hope you’ll like it. I’m always open for criticism.
Of course my third inspiration is Mr Amos Tarana. He said, “don’t get trampled by your emotions.” (no link here, it was a PM) And just like dyeppri’s principles, I felt so limited, so constricted, so purged. I just couldn’t make up a poem without expressing my emotions to the highest bonggang level and believe me I was just so emotional when I wrote this poem…
Thanks, thanks, thanks!!! And one more million thanks!
