A Poem for Arabelle
I remember sometime in ninety three
When I had a phone pal in Iligan City
We were kids back then and got so many stories to tell
But I didn't know that her name was Arabelle
Then came ninety four
Without saying goodbye, Arabelle walked out of the door
I never heard of her since then
But that's not how our story would end
Years passed by and some time in ninety nine
When MIRC was very in at that time
I talked to a girl name Katrina
The name was so common so I had no idea
After chatting for a while she recalls
Then told me she had a friend named Gray at grade school
I never told her my name back then
So we went on chatting while I pretend
I can't believe that after all those years
A girl like Arabelle would still remember
And before we end our conversation
I asked her email for continued communication
So I sent her a mail and told her who I was
The rest was history just like in the past
