A Thousand Years
By Johnnie J. Lim
I'm willing to wait for you even a thousand years more.
But, would it be true that I could live that long?
I don’t care even if I travel from north to south.
I will not stop hoping. I'm ready. I’m faithful.
I’m willing to follow you even a thousand miles more.
But, would it be true that my feet could walk that far?
I don’t care even if all birds fly away, or even if the oceans start to shiver.
I will not give up. I’m ready. I’m faithful.
If you still long for this love,
If you still want this to last,
I'm ready to wait for you even a thousand years more.
And I will not stop hoping. I’m faithful. I love you.
