Now that she's in heaven (or anywhere else resembling it), I never did get why she kept on saying how different I am to her.Well,for starters, 34 years is a lot of difference. I was taller by 6 inches. I knew how to spell and my handwriting is a lot more legible than hers could ever be. But she was very pretty. I never thought of myself as beautiful until I heard someone's story of how God planned about how I would look like, how we all would look like. How he couldn't rest until He made you and me. And at the moment of our creation, He'd be so happy, ecstatic in fact to behold you, and me with my chinky eyes that slanted way bit too high above my cheekbones and my nose with its almost non-existent bridge. As I listened entranced, imagining God creating me, looking at me, suddenly, I felt beautiful.
