An Appeal to ABS-CBN re Alexis Tioseco and Nika Bohinc Murders
Submitted by noid on September 3, 2009 - 5:06pm. abs-cbn | alexis tioseco | crime | maria ressa | murder | nika bohincI just sent the e-mail message below to Maria Ressa, head of ABS-CBN's News & Current Affairs. I think what I relayed below is a reasonable request from the local filmmaking community. Alexis, after all, was a regular on ABS-CBN's shows, and during the PAGASA forum I mentioned in the letter, Ms. Ressa herself said that ABS-CBN devotes a significant amount of time to crime features precisely to assist the public. If you know of any other way to reach Ms. Ressa, please let me know or feel free to forward the letter below.

Hi Maria,
Please Help Catch Suspect in Murder of Film Critic Alexis Tioseco
Submitted by noid on September 3, 2009 - 8:46am. alexis tioseco | crime | murder | nica bohinc | suspectGuys, I need your help. Can you please circulate in your social networks and especially your mailing lists the photo and video of one of the suspects in the killing of the couple Alexis Tioseco and Nika Bohinc, both film critics. Alexis is one of the few active movie critics in these parts. The photo and video of the housemaid Criselda Dayag -- together with other details about the case -- can be found at PinoyFilm.com.
Thank you in advance.
Stop Corruption and the Illegal Book Tax

I think it was Kenneth Yu who brought this to the attention of Manolo Quezon and today the latter featured the issue in his Inquirer column including steps we can take to stop this crime.
