Chopping People Like Meat in Iran
Submitted by noid on June 25, 2009 - 1:11am. iran electionsWhen I turned on my TV this evening, saw a longer version of this clip on CNN in which an Iranian girl harrowingly describes how protesters were beaten until they were drenched in blood, thrown off a pedestrian bridge, and shot at. And like the girl is pleading, the outside world should now do something! Enough of this appeasement sh*t. Again Edmund Burke's oft-quoted admonition applies here and mankind must once more take heed:
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing"

Von Smith (Marvin Gaye's 'You're All I Need to Get By') -- took the judges' advice -- particularly Simon's -- to heart and toned it down a bit. Result was a great vocal complemented by a confident showmanship.
Lil Rounds (Mary J. Blige's 'Be Without You') -- Like Simon said, Brilliant! She can go straight to making a record now.
