I dont know how to start my journal about this bad news from my hometown. When I got the news from a close friend (who happened to work with WWF and she was assigned to Sibuyan) two days ago, I was so depressed and the whole day I contacted my Friendster kababayans to find out the latest development. It was a tragic accident and no one wanted to happen that way!

THIS POETIC PIECE WAS written while I was waiting for a friend who happened to be a priest. McDonald store was the location and I drafted the poem using the tissue papers(napkin) served after buying a meal. So, while waiting for about half an hour for my friend to come, I was able to finish this simple and free verse poem - Existence.

I was inspired to write this while thinking of my friend who is serving God forever. With his devotion to our Creator, I was reminded of how we lived our life on earth for the past years and years to come, and searching the true meaning of living!

Time Line tells me my past, present and the future!

Yesterday is always be the past
While today is always be the present
And tomorrow is always be the future!

Yesterday is the start of today
While today is the future’s beginning
And tomorrow is the end of today!

The day before today is the past
While the day after yesterday is the present
And the day ahead of today is the future!
