Philippine National Election: Turning into a Business

What is election all about? Is it electing a person that is capable of leading, and applying development to the country without corrupting first his mind and then to his people? Or is it choosing a person that is capable of spending millions of money for him to win and double the amount that was spent during the campaign, once victory is on their hands? Would you believed that a candidate, say a president, senator, down to mayor would spend money without getting back something bigger than what they spent during the campaign?

The broken soul of a young boy

It was around 2.30 in the morning in Pasay and I never thought I can witness things, I have never seen before in real life. I was there in that very early morning at McDonalds sitting by myself with a pen and a pad of paper. None of my friends actually knew I was there; I was  tasked by my friend from Canada to see and write what’s in Metro Manila at dawn for an article. Back in McDonalds, I sat alone and was looking around to every people that came in and went out to the place I was in, but at the same time, I started writing.
