Ateneo Institute of Literary Arts and Practices (AILAP) announces its fellows for its 8th Ateneo National Writers Workshop which will be held on October 19-25 at the campus of Ateneo de Manila University. Twelve applicants were accepted this year: Anna Marie Stephanie S. Cabigao, Bonifacio Alfonso Javier III, Marinne Mixkaela Z. Villalon (Maikling Kuwento); Arlynn Raymundo Despi, Wyatt Caraway Curie Lim Ong, Genevieve Mae B. Aquino (Poetry); John Philip A. Baltazar, Monique S. Francisco, Krisza Joy P. Kintanar (Short Story); Randel C. Urbano, Jan Brandon L. Dollente, and Francisco Monteseña (Tula). Seasoned writers like Benilda S. Santos, Danton Remoto, DM Reyes, Rolando Tolentino, Jun Cruz Reyes, Marjorie Evasco, Susan Lara, Katrina Tuvera, Karina Bolasco, and Lito Zulueta will serve as panelists. This workshop is made possible by the support of the National Commission on Culture and Arts (NCCA), office of the Vice-President of Loyola Schools, and the Filipino Department.
