ORHAN PAMUK won the Nobel Prize this year for having discovered new symbols for the clash and interlacing of cultures. Hmmm.... sounds like our Filipino writers have something in common to share with Pamuk. And also, Mr. Pamuk is also the first Turkish to win the said prize.
