ASAKUSA SHRINE

I went to Asakusa, Tokyo today and had my fortune told. It's a general fortune telling and it's located right infront of the Asakusa Shrine. There's this shelves with numbers on them from one to a hundred. You drop a 100 yen coin on the side, pick the cylindrical box and shake it. Tip it to one side and out comes a stick with a number on it. Whatever the number is, find it on the stack of shelves, open the drawer and take your fortune written on a piece of paper.

My number was #55. It was a good tidding. If it were bad, you have to tie the paper to the racks standing on the side of the shelves. It will be taken to the shrine and blessed by the monks later in the day. If it is good, you can keep it.

Below is my fortune paper. I hope you can read it:

My Day Job

I have two jobs. But my day job is illustrating. Please do not ask what company. As for the evening job, do not ask. I want to keep that a secret if you don't mind me saying so. It's personal.

I have constanty visited Akihabara because I want to make my own animation. Little by little I buy what softwares and computer gadgets I can get my hands on to make that dream a reality. Working for a company as an animator would only prolong that reality, so I do what I can.

I don't really like Roppongi because there are too many Filipinos there who loves idle talks. I don't like idle talks. Idle talks are for idiots. No offense.

Oh, and I applied as an English Tutor/Teacher for ESL students. So far, no replies. I hope I get a job as a teacher. They pay more.

I hope this clarified everything for you.

"3 Kinds of Intelligence"

It depends on what context you place those kinds of intelligence. Allow me to demonstrate, although I will most likely falter:

People who talk about people ----> Usually it refers to gossip and idle talks, which are considered sins: people talking about people behind their backs and using whatever information they can get their hands on to destroy their reputation. Unless you talk about important people's biography or the mystery of Marylyn Monroe's death -- that's not idle talk. That's called, "Playing detective" especially if you aren't a detective in the first place. I wouldn't throw this kind of behavior in the category of "intelligence". No. I would throw it in the category of "Boring people".

Those who talks about events ------> Of course, it's about people who talks about things that they can do or participate in. It's not intelligence. It's called diligence and enthusiasm.

Those who talks about IDEAS --------> These kinds of people are either a GENIUS or are suffering from the SAVANT SYNDROME. If they keep talking about things no one wants to know about, they are called INSANE or SHOW OFFS or a KNOW-IT-ALL.

Usually, people who talks about IDEAS are rejected and called CRAZY until after they recieve the NOBEL PRIZE. It's sad but it's true.

Thanks! Once I have enough money, I will go travel, make my animation, and give myself a home to live and thrive until the day I die.

Good luck to you too, Hansler!

You have a nice craft in

You have a nice craft in defibring things in a sterile-sort of way...and yet-at the same time-you reminds me of Hermione Granger. :)
