I've an idea!

Surely you can start writting a fictional story that focuses on the life of a call center agent... Surely you've seen the drama, "The Office"?

But of course, you must study certain aspects of a writer. Then again considering the lack of experience JK Rowling had, you can just grab a pen and a paper, write a story, find an excellent editor and publisher and tada! Congratulations! You've just published a wonderful story about a call center agent. I kid you not!

Anything is possible if you follow your heart! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! :D

Great idea. Or instead of

Great idea. Or instead of fiction, you can write a script/screenplay -- a short one or a full-length. :)

To Pmel

Hi there! Wow, it was fun reading your advice, pretty nice and I thought it was a wonderful feeling knowing there are people who care even though we don't know each other personally. It was really inspiring, it was like I was freshened up with your "The Office" suggestion, that was cool! Actually I was curious about this book entitled "One night in a call center". Anyway, thank you so much for making me happy with your message. Sometimes I felt like giving up. But God always has His ways to send depressed people (like me) an angel (like you) to start believing and hoping again. Thank you again. Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year to you!

or...

You can try writing a feature on spec. This way you can vent out what you're feeling and submit the article to someone who might be interested. Or you can simply write a query on it...

I was thinking something like the alienation in call centers or your experience as an agent and why you want to change professions. I'm sure if your style is nice and you attract readers someone will surely grab it.

Good luck with that! On a practical note, I'd say don't quit your job just yet. Try to get some writing jobs and articles in your portfolio first. You can always write in your free time. But if you want to be serious with your writing, you will eventually have to sacrifice lots of time for the profession. Writing is not easy.

Happy Holidays!

That was really nice, Richard, Thank you! I was not expecting comments at all. I was just losing faith, I thought so. I felt I was alone in believing in this dream of mine. But I am thankful to some people like you who are like angels to me, it may sound exaggerated but that was the way I felt about it. I always write about my daily life. Yet, I know I have so many things to learn. About quitting my job, I appreciate your advice, I am thinking about it. Thank you again!
