Hello everyone!

I am a writer in the USA, and I can write well, but not so fast. There is a lot of money to be made for English writers in the USA, but not so for other countries where a lot of good writers are located.

My girlfriend lives in the Philippines, and so after about a year of correspondence, I have come to know about Phil and the economic situation there (lack of jobs, poor job security, no benefits without a college degree, and so on).

Hello everyone!

I am a writer in the USA, and I can write well, but not so fast. There is a lot of money to be made for English writers in the USA, but not so for other countries where a lot of good writers are located.

My girlfriend lives in the Philippines, and so after about a year of correspondence, I have come to know about Phil and the economic situation there (lack of jobs, poor job security, no benefits without a college degree, and so on).

So...

What I would like to do is offer some of you a chance to "get in" to the writing scene through me. Basically, we would be working together. I am signed up for certain writing sites, and what I will do is send you writing assignments that are available, including the writing instructions of the buyer, and the pay.

We will split the pay 50/50, and I can send you payment a variety of ways. PayPal or AlertPay if you have an account like that, or if you don't, but know someone who does that you can trust, then that would work also. I will send payment to whoever you want by PayPal or AlertPay.

Other than that, I can send you payment by Xoom once a month, but understand, Xoom now has a sending minimum of 50 USD from America.

With PayPal or AlertPay I can send you payment after I get paid and no minimum. Also, I will absorb the PayPal fees myself. So what you make is what you will get without fees.

You can work at your own pace and according to your situation. I know many of you will need to use a computer at a cafe, and that is fine.

Shoot me an email if you are interested and we will discuss it. But do send me some kind of sample writing....I don't care what the topic is....so I can see how much editing I will have to do in order to work with you.

...but all those blog that i wrote was tagalog..not english..i think..it can't be good for you...anyway..thanks for the info...i'm proud of u..even u'r not a filipino..you have a heart of being pinoy...nice 1

Hey back...

Thank you. Unfortunately, all of the paid sites in the USA want English-only articles and writers. It really is a shame there are not more opportunities for Filipino to take advantage of. I tried to find something online for my gf in phil and could find nothing. So now she works for about 4000 pesos a month in a phil factory, which is only about 85 USD. Not much. But I help her out when I can.

And another issue for me is that there are no opportunities for foreigners who need to work in phil. I have no retirement, so the only way I can make it to live in Phil is to find a way to make income online. So far that will be writing, but being an American, it costs more to live in phil than it does for native phil people. Lots of monthly fees. Right now I cannot move there unless I find a way to make more money online.

opportunities for americans in phils..

hello jeff: i read your concerns so i am posting this.

many americans here who married filipinas have started some sort of resort or hotel that they manage both as source of income and means to keep touch with visiting americans. they know what american tourists need and thus become successful. give it a thought.

for interested parties: i have been writing for internet clients for more than 4 years now and for those who want to break into it, i can help by giving and receiving assignments. the pay is not much at first but once you gain experience the earnings may rise.  academic and technical writings pay the best rates. there are many filipinos in the sites i use. sometimes i cannot accept additional assignments anymore because i work alone and get overloaded.

i can open a free website for communications if we can work together. drop me a line or two if you are interested.
