I Watched the Film: The Invisible
I watched a movie last weekend. It was entitled: The Invisible. Though at first it seemed boring because the suspense the cover promised was not as intense as expected, I find it unique and touching.
There was a girl in Highschool who lives her life miserably. When her mother died, her father married another woman. She felt responsible for her younger sibling who was the reason for all her illegal work: theft.
In their school, there were 2 great friends; Nick and Pete. Nick is an only child. His mother was a bit controlling and Nick finds it irritating. He planned to go to London even before his graduation day. Pete, on the other hand, finds himself in trouble with Annie, who was a troubled child. Annie has done a lot of robbing with the help of her boyfriend Marcus. Annie kepts her "earnings" in her school locker. She was surprised when the police got into her school, took the jewelries she robbed from a shop and put her on jail. Annie, who was then seeing Pete's face around her, thought that Pete tipped the police about the jewelries. Annie still got the chance to go out of the city jail and got back to Pete. With the help of her two guy friends, they hurt Pete so he would admit the accusation. Pete, thinking that his friend Nick already left for London, told them that it was Nick's idea. He told them that Nick was the one who sold her to the police just so he can get away from Annie and the bullies.
However, Nick did not left for London. He was thinking of his mom and he just went for a walk instead. On the road, Annie and the gang saw Nick. They hurt him badly. Nick who was all drunk and helpless couldn't comprehend the reason behind this punishement. Annie who was taken over by her madness, killed Nick. Pete was there but he did nothing. He couldn't stop them. Inturn, he just helped them throw Nick's body in the pit and decided to get rid of it.
Nick's mom started to look for her and the investigator was clever enough to think of Annie's involvement of it. Meanwhile, Nick finds himself an unseen soul roaming around. He understood the fact that he's not yet totally dead. He followed everyone involved thinking that they would admit thier faults to the policemen. He almost loose hope until he realized there's one person who can hear and feel him around; that is: Annie, his killer.
Pete who has been feeling uncomfortable and overly-guilty for his innocent bestfriend's death, decided to go run away. Before he do that he told Annie that she killed Nick for nothing. Annie then realized it was Marcus who sold her to the police. So, Annie got back to Marcus and told her she killed someone. When the police's investigation came up to Marcus, who was also a prisoner in the past, Marcus felt that he has to do something. He got Nick's body and threw it in the dam. Anything that's thrown there, would be flushed and be gone once the dam starts to flow water.
While Nick was trying to persuade Annie that he's still alive and Annie's got to help him by getting his body to the hospital, Nick discovered something. He followed her wherever she went. Nick realized one thing then: he fell in love with Annie. He saw Annie in a deeper way. He saw that Annie is a loving sister to her younger sibling. He saw that she is devastated and is imprisoned in her irrational thoughts about the people around her. She saw Annie's soft side and loved her for it.
Annie seemed to understand what Nick is trying to tell her. It was like a light for her, she went back to get his body. But it was late. The body was already in the dam. She got back to Marcus and after sometime, he spilled out the location. Annie was shot by Marcus but she went on. She calle dthe police and told him about Nick's body.
The police just came in time and Nick's body was saved. Annie, still a runaway theft, went to the police. For a while, she became a means for Nick to talk to his mom. He was still in coma. After some arguments with the mom, Annie was allowed to go in his room. She stayed there beside Nick's body. There was an invisible connection between the killer and the victim. There was and understanding. After a while, Nick finds himself in his physical body. He was able to talk to Annie for seconds. Then, Annie passe away.

So far, that's how I remember the story. It was very touching. Really, the magic could be so sudden.
