In Memoriam
" No, when longing comes over you, Sing The Great
Lovers: The fame of all they can feel is
far from immortal enough.
Those whom you almost envied, those forsaken
You found far beyond the requited
in Loving. Begin
ever anew their never attainable praise.
Consider: The Hero continues, even his fall
was a pretext for further existence, an ultimate birth."
-Rainier Maria Rilke, First Elegy
Suddenly, out of nowhere...The imperfections appear.
Wiping out all beauty and it's hideous claws of terror-- The terror I crave.
And suddenly, through the darkness of the night...A spark, a sudden impulse--
A chord was struck...
And the bells toll, No longer shall I be
Whispering your name...
And the blueness, of the sky fade to gray--Then turns to black...Severing ties.
Away from the sound of the waves----
Apart from the realms of the imaginary lovers.
Bleeding----The clouds bleed the blackest ink, wiping out the traces of the stars.
The tears---Then, turn into ice...While,
The Imaginary Lovers Part,
And The Mortal Lovers meet.
And lo, I turn into an angel.
I,----The Angel of Death.
The Patron Of Hopeless Cases,
and Salvation from the meaningless fates.
Yet, I stand alone---Finding the loneliness and isolation-----as my only
Repose and Salvation.....
I Transcend the world of mortal hopes and dreams----
Immortal----My Love shall outlive your dreams and passions.
Immortal----My name shall outlive all hopes and ambitions.
Of this world, I am not. No longer, I am.
My name, written on the rocks and
My Love-----With the Stars...
Outlasting everything, Every Spirit, Every Soul.
And my Name shall shine forever,
And my Love shall remain---long
after your bodies have turned to
dust.
Yet, Alone----I am----Like the pale full moon,
fighting against the
break of dawn------Until it falls
captive to the setting in, of light.....
Yet, it remains up there, somewhere
Unseen....
waiting for it's time to shine again....
Reclaiming,
It's throne as The Monarch Of The Sky......
