Judas and the Rule of the Universe
Judas and the Rule of the Universe
Judas, Judas, Judas, Judas
Everyone is throwing out my name
Like a rock at a dove that flies away
Oh, can’t they feel my pain?
Judas the betrayer
Judas the liar
Judas the greedy: Wealth is his sire
Judas condemned
From evil he stemmed
Judas deserves the hell’s blazing fire!
Judas, Judas, Judas, Judas
Everyone is throwing out my name
Like a rock at a dove that flies away
Oh, can’t they feel my pain?
Some people view Judas as a necessary catalyst for Jesus’ religious enterprise: without Judas, Jesus would not have been crucified, and the rite of passage to heaven would not have been permitted to us.
Some people believe that within the circle of Jesus’ disciples, Judas was the most loving and loyal apprentice to him. They believe that Jesus intended for Judas to betray him because the love and pain that develops between them, during a revelation, are two powerful forms of spiritual energy that can open the gates to heaven.
Assuming that what they believe is true, Jesus must have accepted Judas, even though he knew that like any human being, Judas was most capable of sinning.
Assuming that what they believe is true, Jesus muast have loved Judas and later informed him that his fate was all planned in advance.
Assuming that it were true, Judas, for all his love and devotion must have feel like a fool, and used, and that he must have thought, “Hey, might as well betray him if it is planned in advance.” I remember our little conversation the other day:
Judas: It’s sometimes tiring, the way people use my name like that, like am some kind of a virus or a monster that should never have lived.
Star: Judas… you know very well that people can’t help themselves. It’s because they cannot help themselves that Jesus sacrificed his own flesh and blood.
Judas: If only I can change my name, but no, it will stay that way: Malicious and evil Judas; Judas the Betrayer, Judas the Liar! They use my name as if they fully understand.
Star: Don’t cry, Judas. Someday they will understand. Just think, it’s just the first millennium!
Judas: Ha ha ha! For you, yes, but not for me … not for me …
Poor Judas … people don’t realize that we all sin and we all make fools of ourselves now and then, and that sometimes being evil is necessary for the greater good.
It’s not about being poor like Judas, or a Jew, a Christian, or a Roman; it’s about being human.
You may say, “But that person have been cheating and lying for years, he deserves to have his name tainted!” It is already tainted. You do more harm to it your own name will scream hypocrisy.
Maybe now is not the time for the change.
Maybe there aren’t enough love and pain involved, as you believe.
Maybe what we can learn from this is to stop using other people’s names and add unnecessary burden on them. Leave these people alone. Find your own solution and if you can’t, keep in mind that “Silence is Golden”. Just think, these evil people serve a purpose and whether you like it or not, they too, are humans capable of doing good and bad things just like you.
If you have no power over them, and you really want to rid yourself of them, there’s always the option of killing them, but in the modern times, that’s not an easy thing to do.
It will shock a lot of people. So the question will be, “Will you be willing to kill either yourself or other people for the greater good?”
People always say you can save millions of lives without sacrificing another. Let’s be real here: To save, make, or create someone or something, something or someone has to give, die or go. That is the rule of alchemy and that the rule of the universe.
Heck, even Jesus couldn’t break that rule.
"Judas and Peter"
Indeed. I almost forgot about Peter, but he's always in the front gate, burrowed in his book of judgements that I keep passing him by without as much as a, "Hi, Pete! How many good uns' entered today?"
Ha ha ha!I bet only 1 out of a million. Not that I am counted. Am a Star, is why so I can pretty much enter Heaven whenever I want to.
People should know that by naming culprits, they too are judging others. Whatever happened to that quote:
"Judge not for someday you too will be judged."
I guess hypocrites just forget about that one. Some people think that by naming someone, they have them under their thumb. What they don't know is that the true name of a person lies beneath their mother's tongue and only their mothers can wield power over them. Those who think that their public names are disgraced, are no more than silly little boys and girls whose parents never bothered to teach them well.
Er ... no offense, Judas!
Judas and Peter were good
Judas and Peter were good men, of course. Just as Glue-Ria Macapal Aruyy-you is a good woman. The three of them have the choice to effect good, are in that position to do good for their countrymen, or the rest of humanity for that matter. But they choose to be naughty. And so History will remember them as such...' Fucking naughty and, yes, Judas[es] too! That said name Judas as we know it today that even Jesus cannot but weep for them...
BTW, this is another good piece..' Thanks for the nice treats..'
"Gloria Macapagal Arroyo"
Meh ... no surprise there. It's to be expected and with 75 percent of our population undereducated and corrupted themselves, I am no longer amused. It's bound to go on like this for another 15 years, believe me. Sad, but true.
Hey, look on the bright side, at least the Philippines is still better than Africa... prolly the reason why Samson was here in the first place. LOL
Er ... no offense, Samson.
Well done...
It's a very good piece, Enjoyed reading it...
Judging - Wrongly. There are at least three types of judging:
1) correct evaluations from a heart of love,
2) correct evaluations with a negative attitude, and
3) incorrect evaluations but of other people
-----
Judging - When We Must.
Our judgments or our conclusions about others must not slander them, must be true and must protect their reputations. Yet, there are times we must evaluate another person's actions, attitudes and conduct. We do this when we vote for men and women for elective offices, as leaders in a church, or when we identify false teachers.
-----------
There are two key times when we must judge others: when we see another person committing sin and when we evaluate a person to be a leader in a church or a leader for our country. We are also to evaluate false teachers. Otherwise, how do we know to avoid them???
May our evaluations be righteous, objective, prayerful and with a heart of love..
----
Bottomline...
All people are judgemental....that's because WE are human beings and that we're not God.

"Judgemental Individuals"
Yeah, people are judgmental because they are humans and that they are not God, but, dear ilyana、we are capable of becoming the God that we adore. Seriously, we are! Jesus says so, himself!
I may not be perfect, but I strive to be and in that direction, I know I am good.
Thanks for the comment, by the way. :)
can't help it.
Just asking... Do you really believe in Jesus? or just partial of what he said? Coz if you believe in the bible, you should believe in ALL that is written in it.
I don't see the point in believing in what is only acceptable to you or believing in some parts only. If you think the Bible is a lie, then would quoting verses from it justify your belief? Would that mean that your belief is also a lie?
Some people don't believe in the Bible, so when they say they don't believe in Jesus Christ then I can understand why they don't believe in him. You, I am quite confused, you use verses from the bible yet you question its integrity.
Like I said, I am just asking.. I am not here to challenge or to mock you.
"...becoming the God that we adore."
i agree.
our God reserves judgement and would remind us that He is a merciful and loving father to His children.
but that doesn't mean that we can be disobedient.
even He will not tolerate disobedience for our sake.

Judas & Peter
people often forget that two desciples betrayed Christ: Judas and Peter. it's about time to stop putting the blame on others for our own mistakes. redeem your honor like Peter, or die in shame as Judas did. being human is a very old and tiring lingo. it should no longer be an excuse. once is a mistake, but twice is a vice.
great post. great read.
sa uulitin po.
