One bitter tear

ONE BITTER TEAR

by: Roan Garambas

I once cried for something useless.

I once cried for nothing good.

I once cried for no reason.

I once cried being a loser.

One flow on my cheek feels cold.

It gives meaning to a faithless heart.

A heart that once mourned;

A heart that once been stolen.

Once again it flows with the wind.

The blind couldn’t see but did feel.

The deaf might not hear but did see.

I am, a normal one, pretends not to be.

My wishes piled to reach the sky;

Have built a mansion full of regrets,

Filled with sorrow, wrapped with fear,

Washed with tears; painted with emotions.

As the sun smile so sweetly,

My eyes cry quiet so often.

Why? Why my heart does cries?

Why the pain does hurts the most?

The clouds darkened…

My eyes closed but did still cry.

On a deep sleep,

I saw one beautiful scene.

Though I lived a life so sad,

I once tried to be someone better.

I often cry but for once I didn’t.

Who I am now makes by being unique.
