“PRETEND JUST A LITTLE”
Could you at least pretend you’re hurting?
Baby stop the lying, I see it in your eyes
Your heart is not longer where it used to lie
Could you cry a little for breaking my heart?
Die a minute for ripping my world apart
If I could see a drop of tear from you
Maybe then I’d feel a little less blue
Baby, if I could freeze the time
I’d go back to when your love still mine
But nothing can ease my pain
‘Til I see you left standing in the rain
I gave my everything,
And didn’t ask any in return
Now I don’t want nothing at all
But to see you stumble and fall
I don’t mean to be cruel
But you left me without a heart and a soul
Just pretend a little
Cry just a little
Maybe then I wouldn’t feel much pain
Maybe then I would stop asking myself who to blame
If you could pretend to shed a tear for me
Just a tear for me to see

Nakarelate ako sa poem mo.... Bongga!!
Ganyan din naiisip ko when my first ever boyfriend left me, kulang nalang isumpa, ipapako at ilibing ng buhay.. Hehehehe... but then again, may point ka, magkunwari nalang sana sila para maibsan kahit konti ang pagkakatapak nila sa pride at ego ng mga iniiwanan.
