What clearly distinguishes me from the Supreme Being is that His wrath led to the banishment of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden while I, on the other hand, have to control my temper and deal with the existence of a very spiteful human being (i.e. a professor.) as long as I’m still in the premises of our dear old university. I envy such power!
If Hitler changed the ultimate definition of evil, then the person I am talking about can give him a run for his money.
And accordingly, if patience is worth millions of dollars in this world, that makes me filthy rich. O__O
It irks me big time when a certain situation calls for me to decide between what is right and what is easy. It’s not just because it’s goddamn hard but that it easily sets me into a frenzy mood to the point of an unwavering bizarre euphoria. It’s euphoria in a sense that I rejoice graciously for having such a crazy damned life. I don’t condemn it. I freakin’ shout for joy because I can't fucking do anything about it. Woohoo! I must be crazy as well.
There are times when I really wish rebirth, reincarnation or whatever you may call it really happens. That way, I could leave this world in a snap and have a better control of things in another life. A chipmunk’s life seems a better deal at this moment. Wahhh.
“The more we progress, the more we fear death.” One of my professors told this in class and I instinctively nodded in agreement.
Now that “brain death” is the more acceptable death rather than when the heart stops beating, which the ad hoc committee of Harvard pointed out like some vicious dictum or something, I think we should adhere more to what we think than to what we feel. The heart could have “artificial beating” through modern medical means which for me renders it “useless”. The brain only functions to the best of what God endowed in us and that makes it “special”.
The rational part is what makes us human. So, we should make the most of it when we’re still alive. We should think more, you know.
Love is all in the mind, literally. The heart is just a symbolic representation of that which we call love after all.
