Sealed letters
I saw her tears, as she bid goodbye
To a kid with a swollen eye.
Head bowed down, she turned her back
And dragged her bag awfully like a sack.
After a year, she sent some dollars
And attempted a call in the middle of some war.
She enclosed a note that will never be read
By the kid who once cried, and now mislead.
She came back, retrieving her loss
But again she cried and made the sign of the cross
The kid was now gone and all that were left
Are sealed letters of love that has always been kept
