For sentimental reason,

allow me to be definitive in saying that you painted my life

with so much inspiration when you spent some time

with me under that tamarind tree.

How could I essay to forget the words

you’d cautiously uttered?

That even a savage beast would be tamed by such lyric?

We’re both young then but I know our hearts

I am working on this novel at present and I hope I could finish it soon.

How am I become worthy of these treasures, O Lord,

This very person who's used to mind just herself, and

come home just to board

In those times when I travel,

Couldn't care less what's ahead

In moments that I marvel,

thinking where should be my stead

Lord's answer was simple,

o higit pang mga taon ng pagsasanay. 
Magpakadunong man, lupa pa rin ang magiging kabiyak.
Pipiliting ampunin ang madamot na pagkakataon bilang
