JOB DESCRIPTION:

·                  Writes marketing and product descriptions following guidelines set by the client or team lead

·                  Produce and track a high number of edited description pages per week, as determined by the requirements of the client

·                  May take on special projects, such as examining, improving and checking specific areas within many web pages

·                  Complete change requests and proof existing sites, as needed

·                  Work with web developers to optimize website capabilities (i.e., more dynamic/user-friendly promotional landing pages, etc.)

·                  Ability to produce a high volume of high-quality work, with a commitment to excellence

         Additional duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

·                  Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or English

·                  Has good knowledge of web content standards and best practices

·                  Experience using online publishing tools a plus

·                  Demonstrated proofreading and editing skills

·                  Ability to shift smoothly between different kinds of projects during the course of a day

·                  Experienced working with web developers and designers

·                  Demonstrated ability creating short forms such as blurbs and headlines

·                  Experience creating e-forms or questionnaires a plus

·                  Capable of working independently given direction from the team lead

·                           Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
