for a tropical country like the Philippines. Pink and baby blue is a lot less Patriarchal and Monarchical than blue, red, and white like England, France and the US of A. There's a conspiracy behind this, but, I won't delve into that. 

If you look at the sunset here; the pink (more like orange, right?) and blue behind the silhouette of coconut trees (sample picture), it looks really soothing and paradisiacal. That should be our theme and make our country more of a tourist nation! That way, we could learn to better discipline our people and keep the rivers clean!

No offense, but I do like Bayani Fernando -- I haven't heard anything he'd done that didn't make sense. Correct me if I am wrong.

That depends on who's looking. Anarcho-primitivists, for instance, think civilization is an anomaly. For them a better world would be one where human beings go back to being feral hunter-gatherers. Though that picture's a bit too extreme for my taste, I have to admit there are a few times when I do fantasize about living in a simpler time where my fists can talk better than my mouth. Fight Club has a lot to answer for.
