If only I,

Could see

the bright through the brightest

the dark through the darkest

without fear

And ignore the voices,

the world, even the universe!

If only I

Couldn’t fall asleep,

Forget bedtimes and lullabies

And control illusions like time

Leave the space

then break free

If only I

Couldn’t feel

love, hatred, everything!

Say farewell to smiles and tears too

End not when the seasons do

And escape from death.

And escape from death

Then I would live forever

To pen the worlds’ dreams

 And tell greatest tales

About you and me, heaven and earth

About life and truth

About the Unclear

If only I

could defy

the laws

But without death,

how?
