To dvi1400
Dude, I was bored and reading through Dagrit's popular post I couldn't stop myself from the urge to reply to your comment. I broke them into segments:
dvi1400: I thought this site was troll free
Nope. This site is open to all kind of people. Even Africans.
dvi1400: Grabe! I was watching this debacle of words go on like a boxing match. Anyway, I believe that this site hosts smart, eloquent, and creative people. That and more.
Actually, a lot of people here are not smart, eloquent, or creative. There were some "elites", but they were too proud to mingle with the others here.
If people here were eloquent and smart, they wouldn't end up "debating" nonsensically to a point where they start getting personal and "unconsciously" insult other people.
If people here were eloquent and smart, Dagrit wouldn't have been forced to fake his sincerity.
dvi1400: All of us here have that right voice out their opinion; hence, the blogosphere, but words are powerful in this site. It is what fuels it.
Indeed. Some people believe that they can talk rationally, but really, they don't know how to, but when someone succeeds in stressing a point, they take it as an insult and stomp away.
dvi1400: Let's be more creative about our criticisms and comments, because (let's face it) we're not all too kind about taking back what we've said unless we're saintly enough to do it.
Believe me, most people are not Saints, though they insist that they believe in God. Sometimes I think it's easier to say, "I believe in God" than be a saint.
dvi1400: I am not a fan of negative encouragement.
Oxymoron, that be.
Non-elegant people don't. They will keep at it until you shut up. :)

my thanks for a detailed comment over my comment. ^_^

very hilarious. point taken. i guess underneath any bridge you wish to cross lies a troll.. even the communication bridge.
when someone succeeds in stressing a point, they take it as an insult and stomp away
sad but true. people can't handle corrections w/ respect. even the adults can't handle corrections in a mature manner. i guess at times it's not what was said, nor how it was delivered that matters, but who said it that counts. not everyone has the gift of empathy.
Internet life is as dramatic as Telebabad was made to impress the mass
yes. as everything happens in real time too. you can rewound the show and go through it again. you can read the book over and over, and feel the emotion once more. but the intensity will not be the same as when you went through it before; nor, can you move on with the same stuff again and again. we move along in order to grow.
negative encouragement is an oxymoron. hehe. it is rampant among families (i.e. dad tells kid he's a failure. kid does all that he can to be successful only as a means of revenge to dad. kid smacks it down to his dad's face condescendingly.) and friends. it is intentional. the one who gives it intentionally hurts the other thinking that it is for the recipient's own benefit.
..dramatic people, no matter how annoying, are more fun to be with than real, elegant people. They will keep at it until you shut up. :)
which is what exactly happened back there.. ^_^
