University of the East, will known for the quality educations provided to the students and continuously producing top notchers . Besides for the quality education and good facilities. It also provide countable organization that can put a spice in your college life as well as their entire personality.

University of the East-Drama Company on UEDC is one of the famous student organization of University of the East Manila and Caloocan Campus. UEDC  is the official student theater organization under the supervision of Frederick Castro a former professor of College of Arts and Sciences humanities an a scholar and a member of Mowel Fund.

It is also an active member of the network of groups of ALYANSA Inc. ( Alliance of Cultural Working in Metro Manila and nearby Provinces Inc. and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts Committee on Dramatic Arts . This organization helps and provide assistant to the students whom in passion with acting and to open doors for those who have passion in arts and encourage youth to be cultural worker with wider understanding of the youth to be cultural worker with understanding of the aesthetics of arts, in a sense that art is use as an another way in expressing,anxieties,feeings and opinions. It also aims to provide wider understanding specifically in performing arts.

The opportunities are within your door, you have the opportunity to go around the country for productions and opportunities given in television, films competitions and events which also provides scholarship for the members. any recent and upcoming productions?

I would have loved to read about the Club's well-known/classic and upcoming productions. I would have also loved to read about its more famous alumni, resident writers and directors, as well as some other less known facts about the group which I may not be able to read in yearbooks ;-)
