i am a fresh college graduate who now works as correspondent for a local daily here in cebu that's affiliated to the philippine daily inquirer. though i'm happy to be able to write and be a part of a newspaper, i'm looking forward to finding an 8-5 job because my grandmother once told me not to be a writer and though i am usually driven by what i love to do, i couldn't easily ignore what my grandma wants for me. and also, writing still leaves me with so much time to be bored. i think i also pine for stability, and there's none of that in writing. i believe celine lopez's take on writing, "the best stress there is" because yeah, it is a stressful task but you forget about it once you get in the middle and you just can't stop.
