LONDON -- Nearly three times as many women in Britain are having breast enlargement operations compared to five years ago, a study out Thursday showed.
Sa panahon ng pabagsak na ekonomya, biruin mong pagpapalaki pa ng boobies ang inasikaso ng mga Brits.
Tanong? Dahil kaya sa pagbagsak ng mga bangko, dun nila naisipan itago ang kanilang kayamanan? Imagine boobies glowing in the dark with those latest swarovski gems.
Well, if those boobies would eventually pump more oil then it might just be what we really need. Lolz

CAIRO—An Egyptian donkey has been jailed for stealing corn on the cob from a field belonging to an agricultural research institute in the Nile Delta, local media reported on Thursday.
The ass and its owner were apprehended at a police checkpoint that had been set up after the institute's director complained that someone was stealing his crops, the state-owned Al-Ahram daily said.
The world is going crazy indeed. Akala ko malupit na yung balita ko kahapon tungkol sa libreng libing, may mas malupit pa pala. Di ko ma-imagine how the donkey will plead when arraigned of its crime;
Judge: Donkey, you are hereby convicted of theft, how do you plead?
Donkey: Weeh..Snaahhh!!!
Judge: Guilty!!! Take the donkey to the err...barn?
owner: No!!!Please don't take my ass away...

ROME—The winner of a free funeral has not turned up to claim his prize after ticket number 11 was chosen in a raffle in southern Italy, an Italian newspaper reported Tuesday.
The holder of the winning ticket in the raffle -- held in the town of San Marco in Lamis -- is entitled to a free lined coffin, a tombstone, copper candlesticks and a grave site, Il Corriere del Mezzogiorno reported.
Wtf! Are you serious? This was posted yesterday in Inquirer.net, binasa ko talaga paulit-ulit. I mean seriously, mahirap na ba magpa-libing sa Rome? Siguro kung dito sa Pinas to kung san mas mahal mamatay kesa mabuhay, tyak pag-aagawan to.
On second thought, pano kung ikaw nanalo? Pano mo sasabihin sa nanay mo?
"Nay!!!! Pwde na kong mamatay!!!"
O kaya dahil pwde mo daw to ibigay,
"Tol, sabihin mo lang kung gusto mo mamatay ha, may gift ako sayo."

UMPIL annually holds its National Congress every last Saturday of August. The organization awards the Gawad Pambansang Alagad ni Balagtas, Gawad Paz Marquez Benitez, and Gawad Pedro Bucaneg to outstanding writers, educators, and literary organizations.

Philippines - The wait is over for E-Jeepneys

Touted as a revolution to the Philippines' most recognizable icon, these electric-run public utility vehicles will finally be registered at the Land Transportation Office (LTO) with a recognizable orange alphanumeric plate.
Introduced in the country in 2007, the e-jeepney is the first public transport system of its kind in Southeast Asia, according to Greenpeace.
